2016 Silver Medal Winner!
Our Chardonnay is a dry white wine and is our “go to” wine that pairs with so many foods and is a mainstay for sipping and cooking due to its versatility. This vintage was cool fermented at 55 degrees in stainless steel tanks which adds minerality and crispness to the finish. No oak has been added; therefore the flavors are cleaner on the palate with hints of green apple, light melon and pear.
Pair with: fish, poultry, shellfish and pork.
Bright apple on the nose. Although this chardonnay is clean and crisp, there is a softness to it that makes it very approachable. Fresh Green Apple and pear tasted first with subtle white floral notes lingering on the finish.
It was a dry summer with mild temperatures. Most vines are still recovering from the previous years frost.
Pairs well with turkey, salmon steaks, chicken salad and white chili.
