Wit and Wisdom of a President
February 21, 2020
Born on farm in what is now Larue County, Kentucky, Abraham Lincoln spent his early days in the Commonwealth. His family moved to Indiana when he was young, partly because of his father's opposition to slavery. Hear how his brilliance and burning political ambition carried him to the presidency and greatness.
In support of the Kentucky Chautauqua program by the Kentucky Humanities, Equus Run presents a series of engaging stories of famous Kentuckians and their claim to fame brought to life by vibrant performers of history. These shows are spellbinding! If only all history was this fun!
