We are fortunate to have a cottage, which sleeps six people, on 15 acres across the street from Equus Run. It is an old family farmhouse that’s been totally renovated and offers all new amenities. You also have the perfect front porch view of picturesque Equus Run Vineyards and access to South Elkhorn Creek. Have a cup of coffee on the front porch and enjoy the sunrise over the vineyard. It’s a gem in the Heart of Horse Country and 15 minutes from Lexington, Versailles, or Georgetown.

While you are in this beautiful area of Central Kentucky take advantage of our breath-taking scenery. Drive the back roads and take in the workmanship of the stone-lined fences while also gasping at the beautiful rolling hills of the Bluegrass and thoroughbreds running in the fields. If you are getting thirsty, enjoy the many tasting experiences that you get from the local wineries, breweries, and distilleries. But, if its history you are interested in, you have to visit Shaker Village. It is one of the 3rd largest sites of the Shakers from 1805 to 1910. Then slow things down with a stroll through the small town of Midway and visit the many antique shops and grab some dinner at one of the local restaurants. It will put a smile on your face. These are just a few things that Kentucky has to offer.
