The long awaited and hard fought opening of Saddlestone Distillery has finally happened, come enjoy a glass of brandy and relax while overlooking the 38 acres of horse country our wine has been made famous for. We serve brandy and agave spirits that are distilled on site, aged, and served by professional staff to our thirsty patrons everyday of the year.
Cynthia Bohn, Owner and Master Distiller, is responsible for Saddlestone’s creation and oversees the entire process of fermenting, mixing, and condensing the vapor that produces our unique brand of spirit.
Our distillery is located in Midway, Kentucky along side our Winery where we draw inspiration from the natural beauty and unique flavors of the region. We are a woman business, and we believe in supporting local farmers and suppliers to ensure that our products are always fresh and sustainable.

Our latest offering is a line of premium agave spirits that are distilled using the finest blue agave plants sourced from the Jalisco region of Mexico. Our agave spirits are carefully crafted and aged to perfection to bring out the unique flavors and aromas that are characteristic of this spirit. Our expert distiller carefully selects the ripest agave plants and uses time-honored techniques to extract the spirit. The result is a smooth and flavorful spirit that is perfect for sipping or mixing in your favorite cocktails. If you’re a fan of whiskey, bourbon, or other aged spirits, you’ll love our crisp agave creations. We age our spirits in oak barrels for just the right amount of time to achieve the perfect balance of flavors and aromas, which imparts a rich, smoky flavor that complements the natural sweetness of the agave.

Did We Say Brandy?
Why, yes we did! At Saddlestone Distillery we produce brandy from some of Equus Run Vineyard’s best vintages, so you know it delicious! At our distillery, we take great pride in producing the finest brandy around. We believe that the best brandy starts with the highest quality ingredients, which is why we use only the finest grapes in our production process.
Our distillery is nestled in the rolling hills of Bluegrass Country and provides the ideal environment for producing exceptional brandies, with a climate that is perfect for growing the grapes we use in our production.
We offer a wide range of brandies, each with its own distinct character and flavor profile. Our brandies are made from a variety of grape varietals, fermented in stainless steel tanks before being distilled twice in copper pot stills. We age our brandies in oak barrels, which impart a rich, complex flavor to the final product.
We invite you to visit and learn more about our production process and to taste our exceptional brandies for yourself. Our tours and tastings offer a unique opportunity to experience the artistry and craftsmanship that goes into each bottle of our brandy. Our distillery and vineyard are available for private events, such as weddings, corporate events, and private tastings. We offer a range of packages to fit any budget.

We serve our handcrafted wines and spirits year round so you can enjoy a taste of Kentucky anytime of the year – But keep in mind, every weekend beginning in the spring we host live music events right here at Saddlestone! Live music, great wine, distilled spirits and good friends. What else could you ask for?
We’re proud to offer the ultimate Sunday Funday experience! We bring in some of the best local musicians to perform live every Friday during the spring. Whether you’re a fan of jazz, blues, country, or rock, we have something for everyone. Our outdoor concert venue is nestled among our vineyards, providing the perfect backdrop for an afternoon of music and fun.
We offer a variety of wines, brandies, and agave spirits for sale, all made on-site using the finest ingredients available. Whether you prefer a crisp white wine, a bold red, a mellow brandy, or a smooth agave spirit, we have something for everyone’s pallet.
